The scheme design and optimization work in the process of stainless steel precision casting is a relatively labor-intensive and time-consuming task. In recent years, with the continuous development of computer technology, many industries that require a large amount of calculation and degree calculation have introduced computer work. At the same time, various calculation software have been developed accordingly, such as ProCAST, AutoCAD, AFSolid, Anycasting and other software. These software can calculate or simulate the design and casting process of stainless steel precision casting, and optimize the current scheme through data calculation, which has played a good role in promoting the development of stainless steel precision casting.

For example, Tsinghua University has taken the lead in the development of conventional general simulation software, and has also developed computer simulation software for high-end casting such as aerospace engine parts casting simulation software and TiAL alloy turbine blades with Chinese characteristics; Harbin Institute of Technology has conducted laboratory software simulation casting research on important structures in aerospace casting, such as space stations and rockets; Huazhong University of Science and Technology has developed the Huazhu CAE system for mid to high end investment casting, which has a wider range of applications and is also a model of the intersection of cutting-edge computer technology and investment casting technology in China.

However, in the current usage process, we have also found that attention should be paid to the modeling applicability of computer software, the thermal properties of materials themselves, and other issues. Good solutions to these problems can greatly shorten the research and development time of stainless steel precision casting.
